Enchanted by the unique location, we decided to stay for a week in this guesthouse.

Every morning at dawn, a yoga teacher would come to give us classes on our terrace overlooking our little tropical paradise.

These moments are etched in my memory forever.

When I think back on it, I tell myself that the Balinese Gods must have had a good laugh watching me.

Because I am terrible at yoga, but… I put my whole heart into it.

So, I figure it must have softened their hearts and they won’t hold it against me ;).

Over there, I could have held the warrior pose for hours.

I would stare at the horizon, mesmerized by the sunrise over the jungle, from where the cries and songs of tropical animals escaped.

I was breathing, finally.

I was enjoying, with all my senses awakened, these suspended moments.

The captivating scent of frangipani flowers accompanied us at every moment.

This scent became our Proustian madeleine.

We have never found in France the delicacy of the natural fragrance that transported us over there.

Until we met Jeanne.

Life is made of encounters.

In this world where we would like everything to happen when we decide… sometimes you have to know how to be patient

I spoke to Jeanne about my desire to create a Louise Carmen candle, linked to this memory.

Jeanne loves to travel, Jeanne also knows Bali very well, and Jeanne is a candle maker and decorator.

So, it was obvious: we were going to entrust Jeanne with the first Louise Carmen candle: Souvenirs de Sayan.

Tomorrow, I will let you discover this new Louise Carmen creation.

It is beautiful, smells incredibly good, and you will be able to personalize it in a very chic way.
