Have you ever had the opportunity to have some incredible experiences?

That push you to go further than you ever thought you were capable of?

You know, the kind of experiences that make you grow on the inside.

The kind from which you emerge forever transformed?

I have been interested in personal development since my student years, some….

In short, a few decades ago :).

My business school had the excellent idea of including personal development courses in the curriculum.

I was hooked!

At the end of the first class, I went to the nearest bookstore to buy books on the subject.

I have the feeling that in France, there can sometimes be a sulfurous scent surrounding personal development.

That just like yoga and organic products 20 years ago, it is wrongly associated with "esotericism and the paranormal."

So before we go any further, let's take a pause for a definition.

What does Wikipedia tell us:

"In psychology, personal development represents a set of schools of thought and methods intended for the improvement of self-knowledge, the enhancement of talents and potential, the improvement of quality of life, and the realization of one's aspirations and dreams."

The great thing about personal development is that you can get into it at any age.

Because you can change your mindset and bring your dreams to life at any age.

Yes, at any age!

I have always been fascinated by what happens inside people's heads.

The mindset, I tell you.

That is where everything starts.

Let the complainers complain, the jealous spew their venom; that won't get them anywhere, certainly not to achieving their dream.

Those who reach their life goals for fulfillment will tell you that it happens 90% in the mind.

A few years ago, we went to London.

3 and a half days of a personal development seminar with the coach of coaches, Tony Robbins.

This seminar is called Unleash Your Power Within (UPW).

It was intense.

I call him the "coach of coaches" because this American has coached several million people around the world.

The list of personalities he has coached is so long that I couldn't even list them all.

He is the one who helped tennis player Andre Agassi return to the world number one spot while he was at rock bottom.

Hollywood stars like Gerard Butler.

Presidents of the United States like Bill Clinton.

Athletes like Serena Williams, Tiger Woods.

Or the star American presenter Oprah Winfrey.

We didn't really click with Tony Robbins.

But despite everything, we signed up for his seminar.

Are you wondering why?

I tell you all about it in the video.

We share our experience, our summary, and talk to you about the firewalk.

So, what do you think… did I walk on fire or not?

And you, have you walked on fire, or would watching the video tempt you to?

Tony Robbins' books

There are many others...

Do you have a book or books that left a mark on you, that you refer to, or that changed something in you? It would be nice if you shared them in the comments. Thanks! 🙂
