Here is the Louise Carmen Daily Moodboards workshop that I hosted in a magnificent location in Paris.
A very pleasant time with two groups who had an excellent experience.
Daily moodboards, what are they?
If you translate the expression word for word, it means: daily mood board.
In reality, it is a sketchbook for drawings and collages that you create daily, according to your mood, your inspiration, and your creativity of the moment.
You can draw, color, cut, glue… It’s entirely up to you!
This way, when you leaf through your moodboards later, you will be able to immerse yourself back into the emotions felt at the time of their creation.
Creating moodboards allows you to take a step back from your emotions and thoughts.
And, perhaps most importantly, to let go.
Why a daily moodboards workshop?
I love sharing what makes me feel good, what adds value to my life. I hadn't yet had the opportunity to host creative workshops in person until I met Fanny from the Paris Made team.
When she suggested the idea of hosting two workshops in their superb Parisian showroom for the launch of their lifestyle line, I thought to myself:
“It’s truly incredible to see how ideas that seem complicated to implement can sometimes benefit from a favorable alignment of the stars!”
How did the daily moodboards workshops go?
On the big day, I had packed magazines, markers, scissors, paint, alphabet & number stamps of various sizes, and inspiring artist books in my large suitcase.
I wanted this workshop to be a moment of experimentation:
- no rules to follow
- no history of collage and drawing from the last five centuries
- and no dogmas on the use of color
…. none of that.
I just showed a few books by creators who inspire me.
I explained a few basic things + THE fundamental thing: “let yourself go. Let go.”
There were hundreds of images to cut out.
Markers.
Glue.
Paint…
Let’s go friends! Have fun!
It was great!
Each of the participants made one or more daily moodboards™.
All of them were different from one another.
Each moodboard reflected the personality and creativity of the participants.
We all had a great time.
And I think it was a realization.
The importance of granting ourselves these little bubbles of “letting go” in life.
Here is the video of this encounter that was fun, creative, and productive all at once.

To go further:
Watch the video “How to find images for your collages?”. It is a special moment: the one where I found superb photos that I then used to make my collages. Through the online workshop, I share all my tips to help you find, select, and use the images that will bring your own creations to life.
